I have had very similar thoughts that you have had and you expressed it better than I thought it. :)Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10498867338310905982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13455938.post-9885809341065651332013-08-28T13:10:37.377-06:002013-08-28T13:10:37.377-06:00I think anyone putting so much thought and prayer ...I think anyone putting so much thought and prayer into these kinds of decisions shouldn't have to worry so much about the controversy it might cause, but it's hard not to. My grandpa always used to say, "Do your best and let the devil take the hinder most." I'm pretty sure that means that if you're doing your best, you just don't have to worry what everyone else is Annalisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06098685809475565754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13455938.post-1508997221652114192013-08-28T12:48:45.699-06:002013-08-28T12:48:45.699-06:00We've been struggling with trying to figure ou...We've been struggling with trying to figure out what we're going to do with our kids when they get to that age. Grig was homeschooled, and the couple years he did go to public school he hated it. On the other hand, I rather liked public school, and I'm an Elementary Education teacher by profession. Sometimes it was hard, but I feel like the things I learned socially helped me find aEmma Tankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785708569848900064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13455938.post-14465803522962350992013-08-28T11:58:58.581-06:002013-08-28T11:58:58.581-06:00It's the depths to which you explore an issue ...It's the depths to which you explore an issue that astounds me. Now extrapolate what you've supposed about your children's exposure to other people and situations and you'll understand the value of experience. And I think it will be a good thing, in general, for her....she is growing up and it is lovely to watch most of the time and I think for every kid--at individual times---it is really good parenting to let them go but still support them. Not everything about it (as you mention) but there were less than perfect things about homeschooling too. I was very close to homeschooling this coming year and when it came down to it...I couldn't order the curriculum...and felt at peace with them going.

Really, Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08610285664063981478noreply@blogger.com
