LDS, Negotiating Post-Partum Depression

I wanted to link to this utterly wonderful article written by a good friend of ours, which includes a story of a woman with Post-Partum depression. Please go read... I have not often read anything this honest, describing the feelings and difficulties of PPD, and braving the recovery process. I am amazed at this woman's guts and resilience, and hope that if I ever find myself enduring serious depression, I am strong enough to follow in her footsteps.

Thanks for the link, Nosurfgirl. The first time I read her story, I just kind of sat there and thought... "whoa." It is truly a heart-wrenching and, in its own way, incredibly uplifting story.

Thanks for sharing. I am really glad that you did. That story is so well written. I think that stories like that should be shared more often, because so many people are really clueless as to what is involved with depression and such.
