This, my friends... is what i'm scared of becoming. The whole thing just strikes a little too close to home. I'm so silly and vain and self-conscious, aren't I, to be worrying about such things?

Do you ever wonder if 20 years from now you're going to think you're all stylish but you're really going to be wearing clothes that were stylish 20 years before that? Will your kids think you are way out of style?

Of course maybe we won't care because the teenagers will be wearing like futuristic metallic jumpsuits that transport them to other places or something.

Merrily,

yes I actually do think about that a lot. And a piece of me really wants to be the "cool" mom who follows fasion trends and doesn't embarrass her children.... see there's the poser in ME.

My own mother was pretty cool. (Is, I should say). She wears whatever she wants... whether that be cute jeans and shirts or voluminous, bengalese outfits or long strings of beads and woven tunics.

Sigh. I don't have that much self-actualization yet.

This is a classic sketch. If you're into humor, I just wanted to invite you to my LDS humor themed blog:

Everything is meant in good fun, and while we haven't taken on Mom Jeans yet, I hope you check it out:)
