Amazing picture

This is a picture of a certain grove of pine in Michoacan, Mexico, where millions of Monarch butterflies overwinter every year.

The orange in the picture is not due to tree foliage.

what an amazing world we live in.

The migratory path of monarchs fascinated me since I was a little girl.

Great photo!

My dd's kindergarten class sent home-made butterflies to that area of Mexico in September.

Return letters from elementary children just arrived--and her teacher gave them to me to translate. The teacher from Mexico also sent letters describing the community.
